Male Breast Reduction/Gynecomastia: Teenage Gynecomastia

Description

This patient is a 14 year old boy who wanted to play competitive sports and was bothered for over a year by the size and shape of his breasts. He felt inferior to his classmates and was so disturbed by his male breast tissue that he withdrew from sports, activities, and friendships. The patient's pediatrician after following him for over a year referred him to The Plastic Surgery Center of Tampa for male breast reduction surgery with Dr. Jaime Perez.
