Arm Lift: Arm Lift after Gastric Bypass
Description
This patient is a 41 year old mother of 2 children that was unhappy with the appearance of her arms and the sagging of her skin. After having a gastric bypass procedure, she lost over 100 pounds and was left with a large amount of excess skin. She came to Dr. Jaime Perez, at the Plastic Surgery Center of Tampa, for a consultation regarding a brachioplasty. Dr. Perez created an incision on the inner part of her arms and took out all the excess skin around the muscle. The patient was very pleased with her outcome and is now able to wear tank tops and short sleeved shirts without feeling embarrassed of her appearance.
